One of my passions is teaming and collaboration as it relates to design education. This fall I'll be teaching a class at the Institute of Design (ID) about the principles of effective teaming and collaboration as it relates to the practice of design. Our goals are modest, to make ID's excellent design collaborators even better.
I wrote a short paper about this that you can download here by right clicking and doing a save as (900k PDF).
A note, I created this paper on a Mac using the Pages software. I wanted to get a sense how the software worked. General impression is that it's a beautiful application with wonderful third-party templates from KeynotePro. The biggest challenge, it's one of the slowest applications I've ever used. For now I'll need to stick to pro tools for nice documents and Word for simpler fare.
