Anyone that follows that follows the Microsoft tools space is probably aware that we're going to be making a number of announcements over the next few weeks. Starting with NAB and ending with MIX. If you're a propeller head or a designer that simply needs to know what these technologies and platform can offer you now is the time to paying attention becasue the full tilt boogie starts this week.
The first news is that WPF/e gets a name. It's now Microsoft Silverlight. Rather than replay the marketing speak you can learn all about it at the new Silverlight site. You can also see some of the blogs that discuss Silverlight as well.
If your'e a .NET or an AJAX developer using ASP.NET and you're looking for a scriptable way to push interactivity and take advantage of the tools and assets you use everyday then Silverlight is worth a look.
NAB represents an introduction and the start of the conversation about what Silverlight is, the story continues at MIX.
Great job with the name and logo!
This is a great time to be a developer/ designer.
